CHI SONO IN BREVE:

Ho iniziato a correre in bici da Allievo, a 15 anni, e da allora fino alla scorsa stagione ho sempre indossato la maglia del Montecorona, la squadra del mio paese che mi ha sostenuto in ogni occasione. Fin dalla prima stagione ho capito che preferisco le salite rispetto ad altri terreni, e nel mio secondo anno di attività sono riuscito a ottenere una vittoria a Udine, con un arrivo in salita. Mi ritengo infatti uno scalatore che predilige le salite lunghe. Nel 2024 ho imparato molto sotto diversi punti di vista, e questo mi aiuterà a evitare gli stessi errori. Nella stagione appena conclusa, a causa di un problema legato alla rotazione del bacino, sono riuscito a esprimermi al meglio solo nella seconda metà dell’anno. Mi preparo a esordire in una squadra che ho sempre ammirato fin dalle mie prime pedalate, quando seguivo le vittorie di Juan Ayuso al Giro d’Italia U23. L’ambiente è estremamente stimolante, anche grazie alle qualità dei miei nuovi compagni.

WHO I AM – IN SHORT

I started cycling as a 15-year-old in the Allievi category, and until last season, I always wore the Montecorona jersey—the team from my hometown that supported me in every race. From my very first season, I realized that I prefer climbingover other terrains, and in my second year, I managed to take my first win in Udine, finishing on an uphill climb.

I consider myself a climber, particularly suited for long climbs. In 2024, I learned a lot in many aspects, and these lessons will help me avoid the same mistakes in the future.

During the past season, due to an issue with pelvic rotation, I was only able to perform at my best in the second half of the year. Now, I am preparing to debut with a team I have admired since my first rides, especially when I followed Juan Ayuso’s victories at the Giro d’Italia U23. The environment is extremely motivating, thanks to the quality of my new teammates.
